In 2010 Legs was the first company to be Artists in Residence at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art). The residency provided Legs with the opportunity to play a significant role in the imaginations and training of NIDA students, across the various disciplines, over the course of a year. As well as delivering a series of classes in the skills and methods of physical theatre practice we created two productions to be directed by Patrick Nolan:
1. a small scale show in the Tiny Top circus tent which combined emerging and mid career physical theatre artists with NIDA directing and design students. Go to the Tiny Top for more info.
2. “The Hour We Knew Nother of Each Other” by Peter Handke, a large scale, site specific production with the graduating actors from NIDA.
