‘Jumping Ji’ Wallace was one of the darlings of the Sydney Olympics, and remains the most well respected trampolinist that Australia has produced. Ji remains the only Australian gymnast to ever win a World Championship, world record and Olympic medal. Ji began trampolining at the Wynnum PCYC in Brisbane, and won several national titles throughout the 1990s. In 1996 he won gold at the World Championships in the Double Mini Trampoline event, for which he then broke the world record in 1998.

The highlight of Ji’s career was winning silver at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Since then, Ji has become Australia’s first Gay Games Ambassador and has been a performer and coach with Cirque Du Soleil internationally. After returning to his native home, Ji has became Head Coach for Skyzone trampoline parks, and is the national manager of their Sky School program. Ji is passionate about creating an environment where your senses go wild. Whether it be a flurry of activity in trampoline class, the sweaty success of physical exhaustion, or captive enthralment in the emotive world of performance.
