On National Sorry Day we reflect on the grief, suffering and injustices experienced by the Stolen Generations, the ongoing impacts of colonisation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across this country, and the work still ahead for us all. This month Legs planned to tour Man With The Iron Neck and share its story of love, loss and resilience, engaging with communities in regional centres in partnership with the Balunu Foundation. While COVID-19 has set us back we are striving towards reviving these plans, and we continue to place the telling of essential truths through transformative physical theatre at the heart of our practice. When we are truly sorry we make sure it doesn’t happen again. Always was, always will be.
