HIGHLY SPRUNG OVERVIEW
Highly Sprung is a quirky and simple work that will use the connections between sports gymnastic athleticism and physicality, dance and the storytelling possibilities of physical theatre. It will explore the everyday challenges of a group of people finding it difficult to start the day, and conquering a seemingly endless set of barriers that prevent them from doing so.
This new outdoor trampoline work will transform a section of CBD office worker territory into a surprising and highly sprung alternative environment. The environment will be activated three times daily by a choreographic acrobatic physical theatre team, once in morning peak hour and the second during lunch and the third at knock off time and will encourage onlookers to participate and kick off their shoes, leap over those barriers and get bouncing in between performances.
