Leg Up program

Leg Up is Legs On The Wall’s continued commitment to fostering and supporting independent artists in new/early career. The focus and intent of Leg Up is an opportunity for professional development through the sharing of physical and theatrical know-how with the potential of future work with Legs on the Wall. The Program will be made up of a small group of artists that have shown a vested interest in the company and a passion to develop their skills. Leg Up will run over a 12-month term, starting from January 19 which concludes at the end of each year.

Your engagement is self driven and no formal time commitment is required from you. However, we would encourage you to utilise this opportunity wholeheartedly.

Please note this is an unpaid opportunity.

The Legs team will select participants at the end of every calendar year

Under the Leg Up Program Legs will offer:

  • Free workshop and classes

  • Mentorship from the Artistic Director

  • Grant and budget guidance

  • Free Space when available
